Let Round 3 begin!

GO AT THROTTLE UP!

Once through max q the main engines are throttled up to 104% of their rated thrust and the crew receives a “go at throttle up” call from mission control. Now the SSME’s are putting out over 480,000 pounds of force and consuming almost 1,100 gallons (3,257 lbs) of propellant a second (this is in addition to the solid rocket boosters that each burn through their million pounds of fuel in the two minutes they are firing) as they carry the shuttle from about 1,600 mph to the 17,000 mph required to reach orbit. All of this happens within eight and a half minutes of liftoff.

One hour after I asked, the first sign of line-rejection prevailed.



Of course what I said yesterday is too easy to be true. I don't expect it to be that easy. Does anyone?

I think what happens next is, before hitting the Blue Bearflag Pole Base, the Bear flag upper TL will smack one more line-rejection, what bear thrust inside the bear flag should do... BUMP AND RUN a mini crash down to the lower TL. A "Rule of 4" touch to both bear flag TLs, then we resolve.

90 min after last chart, Break Down!

When first sign of declining momentum cracking through bear thrust trajectory, it's time to ask this other question... How long can it stay up in orbit, before returning to Earth?

That "1st line-rejection" still grips firmly.

So far a shooting star and a hanging man, bodes well with last sentence.

One more from 6/26, no doubt if I get my top Yellow line (same as Blue flagpole base) rejection, just so reminding you know the drill.
