Well Done, as usual! Agree, I'm short as well-and added a GLD short at 127.10 this morning (via puts).

spooky, what are you targeting on gold you dont think lack of deal (short spx) trade can influence gld positively, or you think they can move in same direction thanks for your time

Targeting 119 area on GLD, but I'm a very short term trader so if I'm right I may cash before then-if it's real quick. Not worried about anything but the TA of GLD itself. I expect at least 1 LARGE down day before next Friday. Hope that helps.

My most consistent winning trade this last couple years since August 2011 has been shorting gold. I am out here, because the gold contract tested volume resistance the other day at 1318. Normally you don't get those tests when gold trends down, tends not to give you those resistance tests. So whenever we get one, pretty much takes me out of the trade until it's resolved. I think odds still favor another retest of 1351 right now, until 1291 is broken to the downside.

Good Luck on the trade, hopefully it takes out 1291 and closes there.

BTW.....I don' t understand what you look at in the vix....the rest is clear
