That's how this market looks to me. We keep having these big rallies; but meantime, in reality, we just keep sliding down the slope of hope. One of these days, the hamster's gonna keel over from exhaustion.
Just a meaningless thought, fwiw. Carry on.

This market is clearly news driven more than earnings driven or cycles driven or TA driven or seasonality driven. JMHO.
Too many big moves coming from the Gubbermint to be ignored.
But I will continue to be patient and wait for 800 to be penetrated before adding to LT longs.
It's been 2 months and a half since SPX 800 and counting.

Reminds me of last summer when they had news on short sale restrictions about every other day. It's obviously clearing out of the obstacles, one way or the other.

All I see is a bottoming process taking place. As far as I'm concerned, in the last couple months there has been good money to be made simply following the channels and it makes no differnce if your a bear or a bull. On the other hand, at this stage, I see more risk being long term bearish than bullish.
