www.box.net is free for fairly large file storage
it is simple and quick to:
- upload chart files ... within folders that you may choose to create and organize
I have created 3 folders
- grant access only to those other chart technicians with whom you wish to "collaborate"
those with access can also upload their chart views, AND make comments in the comments section for each chart view (IF you choose to extend "editorial" privilges to them when you extend the invitation to collaborate)
in order to invite another trader so they can have access to specific box.net chart folders you create, their email is required and they must accept the invite for each chart folder you create and for which you send them an invite...and free register at www.box.net
- one-time links to specific charts residing at your box.net folders can be posted for public viewing ...and you may choose to password protect such link viewing if desired
----------------
speed and a minimum amount of time to use this box.net facility is what appeals to me
I learned about box.net from another chart technician who also was a former IT leader at KPMG
