As I said the other day, the eye of the hurricane is sucking you bulls right into it. This is warning #2. If you are a noob trader, which I know some of you are, you will think the bottom is in. It isn't. As I said before, after the micro rallies are over, what comes after that will turn some of you white with fear. If you want a technical clue, look at things like the financials today. Don't worry, they will rally soon to suck in more victims a bit later before DA PLUNGE. Be on the look out for posts from: 1) Perma bulls who've lost 50% of their account 2) "Greatest timers of all time, since dinosaur's age" 3) Those who get directions from ********* 4) Your government

Don't worry. Those indicators I posted above are FLAWLESS. You need not worry about missing the boat for the big decline until they open their mouths. I've been watching them for a year and its amazed me how accurate its been. I can write a book on it. We should have some weakness, but I do not think the atomic bomb is unleashed until I hear a 'snort'.

What I find remarkable is that we still have a large contingent of guys on here who seem to act as if this market is operating in a business as usual manner. It's as if they have stuck their heads in the sand and didn't notice the series of events that transpired in 2008. Even if a guy were bullish per se, the forces (i.e. participants) in the form of pension funds, ibanks, endowments, baby boomers, etc, etc, are "all in" and have been a big part of the mass liquidation lower. I read all of these posts about rallies to 1400 and I ask myself who are the buyers. It's also important to keep in mind that alot of those hedge funds that delayed redemptions last year have agreed to liquidate at the end of this quarter. Again, more money moving out of speculative hands. Take away leverage, etc, etc... Yet, the bulls throw on their contrarian glasses and scream all of this is bullish. It's insanity.

I have a dollar topping signal ... might still be one higher yet to come, but there's a correlation there I wouldn't ignore.

Hope should be at the top of that list. Just read all the news and listen to anyone who is bullish or trying to convince others to be bullish. The word 'hope' will be the linchpin of their argument.

So, where do you see us topping out at, and how far down do you see us going?
Do you have a timeframe for this vaccum - especially interested in a start level
and time if you wouldn't mind...

I've said it many times before. The bottom will be when the crazy fools capitulate at bargain basement prices and I load up longs like candy. Not before.
