STILL SHORT admirable effort by the boys and girls in the basement of the treasury dept..... did you see them on tv pumpin as we watched as they talked with the Feds.. Ben ben ben .... stop messing with the natural nature of the markets ... they are not yours to control. what was the saying about messing with Mother nature, it goes the same for Mother markets. Dont mess. technically for the MOMO we are still in the area of extreme negativity .. although we are reaching...what has worked as a support / reverse area for the markets... but know that no to reversal areas are the same. If we start off strong tomorrow i would expect that to last for the day and maybe turn into at least a short term reversal for the markets.. till then OS areas dont always mean jump off the trend.. we need at least one more day up .

YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature..... and YOU WILL ATONE! Am I getting through to you, Mr. Bernanke?

You WILL atone

I have posted that clip from "Network' a few times on FF myself D. I also send it to anyone I know who wants to know how the world really works or anyone who still believes in the myth that governments run on ideology.

Network was supposedly a "black satire" but, it told it as it really was and with awing accuracy since it was made 35 years ago, how it was going to be in the future (now).

It's author, Paddy Chayefsky was not just a genius, he was a Seer.

There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM and ITT and AT&T and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide, and Exxon. Those are the nations of the world today.

Change those corporations Chayefsky used 35 years ago to GS, BofA, Citi, etc. and that line is exactly as it is.

Wonder what Chayefsky would say now that the "new nations" don't actually make things like computers and phones and chemicals and petroleum but instead just produce "liquidity."

His point remains the same. Economics, more bluntly money, runs the world. Those with the most power have the most money.
