This is what happens when the selling's advertised well in advance. Boring session so far, so here are some intraday observations…
The most active put options is XLF Aug 15. What's interesting is the most active call option is BAC Jan 12.50 with almost identical volume at approx. 90,000 each. Pair trading?
The rest of the top 10 are all SPY puts. The PCR of these various SPY options is about 2:1.
The NDX has been going nuts, but I have an intraday QQQ BP Alert.
AAPL reached $400 is a great short. I hope some had taken advantage of that $400 price.
Fearless Forecast: Looking at lower close to 1333.
Good trading ya'll….

Techman, what does "BP alert" mean? thank you, u
John 21:6 And he said unto them, "Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find". They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Big Plunge. A little dramatic, I know, but everything's relative.
If it's an intraday, a probable 0.50%-1.00% down from the level the signal's generated. If it's tuned into a daily alert, then > 1.00% within 2 sessions.

No one else had made the call, not even just lower or higher close calls? Hmmm... Uncertainty, I guess.
Meanwhile, NETFLIX is currently down about 8%+ after the earnings in the AH session.

Now NFLX down 10%...
President press conference at 9:00pm. Why 9:00 p.m., an hour after Asia session? Some sorta deal?
Moody's this morning: Greece Default Virtually 100%. The Euro had hardly budged. No one cares anymore or just getting distracted by all the drama on Capitol Hill for now?
Boycotting Football this year....

Press conference to announce a deal? Seems unlikely. Likely to bash each other more.

It's the 9:00pm prime time TV that got me intrigued. I thought that's unusual. So, we'll see.

Meanwhile, I’m still searching for reasons why the Euro started slumping at around 6:30pm along with equity futures. Maybe it's related to the press conference.

And, I'm actually surprised to see this Fox News online poll result. I thought the opposite was true.

Now the Dollar's slumping ahead of the prime time press conference. Hmmm... Did someone know something already?
BTW, for those interested, my intraday BP Alert got "deactivated" in the AH session. Therefore, from the 2:30 pm high of 59.78 to the 3:50pm low of 59.42, for an intraday "plunge" of 0.60%, was all there was for this particular alert.
Let's hear what the Prez has to say….
