Do any of you know of a stock screener that could search for parameters like this: Find: X hours moving average price above X hours moving average price for Example a screen that could identify Stocks that had just had an 8 hour SMA cross over a 60 hour SMA Thanks - KCS

Pretty sure you'd be able to do that easily on Scottrade Elite.

It sounds like you want an intraday screener for a portfolio. This can be done quite easily with programmable RT softwre.

Take a look at Ninjatrader. It's free to download. 8 hour ema over 60 hour ema sounds pretty close to 1 day ema over 7.5 day ema. (Trading day for equities is 6.5 hours). I'm not sure why you would want to do that in hours, but Stockcharts and other programs can specify times like 240 minutes, so maybe that's an option. Also, freestockcharts.com.

Thanks for all the replies

I have scottrader elite and can look at stocks I enter in to see the crossover Im looking for (same with stockcharts or others)

What it won't do is look accross all stocks and show me stocks that meet those parameters.

I will check out ninja trader

Colion - not sure what RT SW is?
