The Powers-That-Be want to put pressure on congress. That's all. Well, that, and too many Bulls. The Options Oscillator gave a Sell at the close last night.

From Today's ES Forecast:

These futures always seem to sense strength and weakness ahead of the cash indices and Tuesday was no exception as we saw an overnight pullback in ES test 1327, and then a further decline in the regular session to break that low on much stronger volume at 1326.25. ES bounced on lighter volume and then gave it up again in the final hour, retesting that 1326.25 level again, this time on only the 2nd strongest hourly volume of the day, so we do have that mixed signal of a retest, sort of, without breaking the low on lighter volume, but that still leaves a question, so we could see it tested again before it is resolved. Short term we're looking for support at 1321-22, but if it fails, we could see a fast decline under 1317 again.

I don't follow the QQQs. Nor the NDX 100.

For the Nasdaq Composite here we have support at 2767, and it better not break.

The strong hourly volume depicted in the chart was BROKEN ON 20% STRONGER VOLUME into the CLOSE in the Final Hour of trading at the LOWS OF THE DAY...
