I don't think I ever bought daa dip the day before a crash. Did it this time, but it didn't take till the end of day to admit I made a mistake before getting out. Looks like I'll have to be a little more careful and get into bear mode of buying on retests of lows till 2012. And looks like we're finally getting that dollar rally...ouch Will Ben be ready to trash the dollar (create inflation) some more with a new program next week to save his manufactured stock market rally? If not, nature takes it course.

I'm concerned about the possibility. I don't think we get one, but I'm open to it. Mark

There you go again. Code was "Candlestick Blackout". I speak in "code" around here for good reasons. In this case, it's not technically a "crash", wasn't going to be a "crash", and I did not call it one. It WAS a candlestick blackout, though.

If this causes some to start trashing my threads and responses all over again, so be it. I can always go on another unannounced long hiatus.

$nya200r is coming down pretty fast, just like 2008. This kinda damage will take a while to play out.

If you look at the MACD, it is steeper than 2008. :o

Create more inflation? Do we need $10 / gal on gas or higher food prices. the only thing still falling in price is housing prices - not rent however. Inflationary depressions - ALWAYS lead to the overthrow of governments. I hope they move out of the way and let the markets work. A deflationary depression will hurt but a lot of debt will die and go to money heaven - perhaps even US debt - there is no other way out of this. Debt cannot compound faster than income on a macro level or a micro level.

cmon, you should know by now....the crash calls usually dont start coming until we're already weeks into a selloff. Wait 'til next week. And as usual, the crash calls will tell you its time to start buying dips....or buy immediately :)

j/k of course. Kind of...
