Doesn't mean it can't go lower, but this is pretty darn low.

Yup. I was just writing about that. II is still stubbornly Bulled up, BUT, Hulbert (who ostensibly measures the same type of sentiment) shows his advisors going net short which puts a floor under the market or marks a good low about 80-85% of the time. Mark

Percentage wise seem to favor the bulls. Back in mid 1990 AAII sentiment was this bearish there was a couple day rally, and the market sold off more, and finally hit a bottom when bearish sentiment was over 65%. Needless to say, one cannot say it has never gone lower on such an extreme reading. Barry
