few minutes ago:
1275.5 to 1287.75 (+1%) in about 3 minutes then down to 1278 from 1287.5 in 5 minutes (-0.8%)

Yes, it got gappy and unstable, didn't it. Remember that price range because what you just saw is going to come back to haunt us...

Absolutely true Semi. I see it especially prevalent on stocks - once they start gapping, the gaps become vacuum zones on daily charts. Usually these zones are subject to another gap which make the price range even more unstable.
I recall observing this years ago and never thought it would affect futures - but it does.

Breadth 6-1 negative so the elephants are on the sell side. Market sensitive to short covering as you never know what BS news will be shoveled out Monday AM for a gap.
