Now its economize my ride ?

We are only payin between $3 and $4 for gas now. If they would do the math and add up how much they spend per year for fuel, it comes nowhere close to how much they get nailed on a car's depreciation. And the ones now depreciating like falling boulders are the big fat SUVs and pick 'em up trucks.
By going from a truck to a simple sedan does nothing for your gas mileage. Unless you buy something ridiculously small. So if you have an SUV, are you going to switch to a Corolla ? That's the only way you get any real gains on fuel efficiency. a large sedan like a Ford Tortus or a Chevy Limpala will only get you about a 20% better fuel economy in city driving than a typical suv or truck or van. Even Accords or Camry's aren't much better, and you pay a very stiff premium. Hybrids are a joke. do the math again, and you find you will never pay off the diff in added upfront cost for the better fuel mileage over the same vehicle without, unless you keep the car more than 5 years. After 5 years, the hybrids will kill you on battery costs. People in this country are so easily mis-led by the marketing and media these firms do.
don't let the mfg'rs fool you. They want you to now switch to different vehicles so you now have to buy something new. and they will figure out how to again stiff you in the process. Those fat profits they got on SUVs and trucks, will find their way into cars if americans now think its "sexy" to own a so called "fuel efficient" vehicle. That's why they made up the hybrid garbage. Its to keep you in a vehicle they know they can still charge fat profits on. Trust me. They will find a way to keep profits high in this big hoax on america.
When I can buy a new full size "normal" sedan with fuel mileage better than 30 in the city, and its less than $20k, thats when I will go for 'so-called" better fuel efficiency.
No average size vehicle should ever cost more than $20k. In the 70's you could buy a very nice car for $2300. In the mid 80's it was $14k for that same "nice" car. Now you have to pay $30k for a "nice car." Its totally bogus.
Pretty soon the car makers will have you takin out 30 year mortgages to buy a car. India's got the message. You can buy a Tata their for $2500. Sure it leaves a bit to be desired, but it gets you around.
Next after hybirds they will talk you into fuel cells. Again another joke.
