for the Naz, first in a while: 9 to 1 on Monday (down to up ratio)

NYSE .... Monday's ratio surpassed both the July and August highs -

Hiker, I do not follow the board that closely but always appreciate your work. If one charted the up-down and down-up ratios on the same scale on ID basis - say 60 min- one would see the extent of the thrusts in relation to recent history and price history. Extreme swings most often indicate start of a trend or exhaustion, depending on the price and multiple MA structure. On my TS chart the positive volume swings have not been able to exceed the negative volume swings in a long time, on the other hand, at least looking at the 60 min chart so far proportionally there have not been a lot of price damage on this swing Best, F&D
