Can we possibly have a 1929+ depression

Will policy makers repeat history even though they have a perfect example of what happened in 1929 and in Japan in the 90's? Does history have to repeat? After the efforts I've seen, I am having trouble with a worst case scenario. I don't usually look at funnymentals...it's not my game. What do you think? D

Depends on whether you think we are here by mistake or here by design.

i think the possibility exists but is very unlikely. Couple major things i see different compared to 1929/30 is that banks were actually raising rates at that time & it was a US centric economy not a global economy with a global reserve system + Bernanke & Friedman both agree that there is no reason for any country to have another depression because they have perfected the art of growing the money supply.

dan, 100% orchestrated 100% manipulated and that's a fact p.s. our 'machine' has been crushing ES after hours, based on simple ema crosses (and tight stops too), got some high school math geek kid to write the code i know, i know "it won't work once the volatility drys up" good trading peace

so far everything they said wouldn't happen has happened. so yeah i think it's possible. we're back at 1% interest rates and i think we'll be at 0 before too long. ed rader

Dan is the name. They called me Dan the man back in school. The name
kind of stuck.
