ST, bulls need to hang onto $SPX 940. Today's pivot and key support. Bears had their chance this morning and gave up control. cheers, john

May look even nicer at the close today with NYSE breadth still sporting better than 3 to 1. However, things seem to change at 3pm now a days, LOL.

I think if we're not going to see a sell off into the close today, we'll see a big move up as shorties who shorted for the end of the day weakness will start panicing.

But the fact is that MCO has broken out, and summations are extremely super duper oversold and are starting to turn. And once they turn, there is no telling how long they will be grinding up.

yes, lots of plain vanilla t/a is starting to turn higher. today's calm, orderly advance, after a scare-that-went-nowhere, portends a hard UP POP in the last hour. a gap and go friday from the get-go would not surprise me. and think of that weekly candle in progress. candlepeople: your thoughts? comments anyone?

Sweet would be if we can have a candle that tops last weeks high. Might be stretching it a bit. Naaaaaaa. Here it comes.
If it can be cornered, it will.

Higher close tomorrow give us bullish engulfing candlestick on the weeklies. Due to the size of the candlestick if it should form would be bullish for those who believe in Candlesticks....

Well, they tried after 3pm to take er down, but failed big time today. Nice Premo in the futures at the close. On a GAP note, we have had several gap downs over the last several weeks culminating with the big limit down, and if we do a 3 Gap Play like da cheif has spoken of we should fill 1003 in the next day or so. Bring on the Window Dressing tomorrow. That will make the Monthly wick on the Candle Stick look much better. Overnight, the way that the FTSE closed, we should see a lot of pressure to the upside on the futures as they open. 4am rather than 3am, but will change back to 3am Monday.
