A truly free market would not have seen the housing crisis because those loans would have not been made without government pressure to loan to those who were bad credit risks. World economies (and people) have suffered.

Likewise "Green" jobs are not market driven while domestic oil production has been shut down by government.
So we have $3 gas stifling potential US growth and $58 million in the waste basket and 800 people laid off.
