Nothing like creating another debt hostage. Western democracy is good that way. Impoverish the poor to save the rich.
I expect Russia tanks to move back in any day now, and 'rescue' the Russians, oops I meant Ukrainians, from the Western loan sharks , oops I meant thugs.

Poland, Romania, and Hungary rejecting the repatriation of territory from the Ukraine. EU/IMF wants the farmland in Eastern Ukraine. The coup d'etat occurred soon after China arranged the acquisition of 5% of Ukraine's farmland. China and US/NATO have been in direct competition for oil. gas. and farmland assets in Africa with the latter relying on military force.
