I have no idea why this is running so hard today to new highs.
I said here this week that USU and EMU are two uranium names that have not been showing much weakness vs. rest of sector
for better or worse, I just sold all my EMU on this spike over 15.80 to $16+
Did Cramer say something in his 2:40 time slot appearance today on CNBC about EMU..this has been running hard all day, but this last spike?

URZ selected prime areas it believes will contain oxidation-reduction geochemical fronts as well as uranium-mineralized areas not currently claimed by others.

Darn! I thought I owned that, but looking at my trading account, I realized I bought EMC the technology company that trades on NYSE, when I should have bought EMU or EMC.TO. Looks like I have to start being more careful with symbols!

I still got mine. Late bid 16.70, offer 18.00, last 18.00.
I wonder who the potential acquirer is. CCJ? Someone else looking to enter the biz? Should make for an interesting next couple of weeks.

EMC.to is part of my basket. Unfortunately, I sold way too much the position is tiny now. I did by some shares in the basket the last hour to boost positions for a trade at minimum. Hopefully the merger news causes some short covering early next week at minimum.

I think it looks great on both daily and weekly charts. My biggest position by far -- just luck from having a bunch of penny stocks that went into EMC. I think in future years we'll look back and marvel at how much higher uranium stocks went from where they are now.
