Your description doesn't make a lot of sense. Why medically induce a coma for a patient with chest congestion and pneumonia unless there's some other medical condition? The last thing you'd want to do is to make it harder to clear the lungs.

I know..It didn't make sense. That was my point too among other things that happened. It is still being investigated.

There are two strains of Swine flu... Strain 'A' is much worse with high fever body aches etc.... Strain 'B' is not as bad you can get chills, fever or not.. This B case lasts about 14 days. It starts with sweating unexpectingly. You could just be sitting around you get real hot and sweat only for 5 minutes. You don't realize you even have the flu until week 2. The occasional sweats might only happen once or twice a day. No real reason. Five days later you get head congestion runny noise ( Typical Allergy symptons ). Next you cough you feel bad. Could have a fever or not... This last for 3 or 4 days, then you slowly get better for the next 4 days without a fever.... What kills me is the media doesn't give the actual symptoms and how it most likely develops. In Austin I think we have over 10% of people have contracted a variant of the swine flu 'B'.. A lot more than what has been reported. Barry
