This poll is demonstrative of how complacent everyone is with regard to the US economy and worse it's government:

AAA. Ignore the politics; when push comes to shove, the U.S. pays. 42.08%

AA+. OK, there's a small default risk. But there's a reason the 10-year is under 2.50%. 23.38%

A-. No way will Congress rein in entitlements. I'll take my chances with Spain. 18.48%

BBB. Ireland, Iceland, U.S. — three peas in a pod. 5.01%

B. Pakistan, Nigeria, U.S. — 'Greetings. I have a secret account with $14 trillion and need your assistance ...' 3.07%

CC. We can always sell and lease back the Washington Monument. Or maybe just sell. 7.98%
