Despite the market going lower all day, TRIN did not post a higher high than yesterday. The signal was there all day today!! In fact, it stayed subdued today. That is one of the hallmarks of my TRIN signal. I was in cash, except the speculative AMR position, as noted in yesterday's VIX thread. So, I wasn't noticing this today. I have posted TRIN signals many times in the past since June 2010, as recently as last week. You can dig up one of the threads and the past history for lower TRIN signals will show up.

I am surprised nobody else noticed this today as well. We are traders, we know that news does not make the money, technicals and indicators do! Even if there was no news in the last hour, we would have seen the market higher tomorrow or day after. This is a swing buy signal, we already finished day 1.
