...it's been a great run since the May top, but this last trade (buying puts at 1195) hasn't been working out so far, so I decided to eat a loss on this position late this past week and be happy with the swings I've been fortunate enough to catch up and down since the May peak. No need to be a pig at this point...it's time to be grateful and regroup and prepare for hopefully an even better year next year. I wish you all the best during the holiday trading period. And stay safe out there...as the financial system/debt markets continue to unravel, we'll be seeing wild swings all the time. I'm confident we'll resolve hard to the downside over the coming months, but it will be a difficult trading environment. Good luck to everyone and see you in a few weeks for a 2012 that is sure to be full of fireworks. We live in interesting times...
