So did CNBC read my natural gas post last week, and investigate ?
Second one in as many days. Yesterday it was about LNG. Now today its about sparking an industrial renaissance.
The answer. Of course it will .... cheap energy is cheap energy, and one that's right in your backyard is all the better, especially from a security standpoint, not to mention avoided transportation costs. Natural gas is used so widely, and important and integral to so many products and technology we use these days, in particular chemical production, and plastic. The world wants to be awash in "cheap plastic" and if there is anything we are good at here in the US, is coming up with more ideas about where we can use "plastic." (literally, and figuratively)
