My observation is that when NYAD makes new ATHs before price, on a long term basis, price will go on to make new ATHs before any new bear market. It happened that way in Nov. 2004 and the latest breakout happened in Feb. 2010. This may not help st option traders but out of all the internals, this is the one that truly leads, others like NYMO and NYSI not as much. Fib may confirm my observation as he has commented on this before.
