Am I imagining it or is Hyundai (HI-UN-DIE) pronounced HUN -DIE in the USA. If so, WHY? Maybe its like buoy pronounced (BOO-EE) instead of BOY. Its almost like the US ignored their English roots. Webster has a lot to answer for, lol.
