Encouraging intraday reversal in GLD and GDX, but would like to see some confirmation from SLV and SIL.

I posted this in another thread but IMO it's worth of mention here; here's this old amigos take, do an overlay of monthly gold vs copper and the CRC commod index, they follow each other big picture beautifully, in the grande bull there have been TWO grande drives higher from 1999-2001, IMO the next grande drive will begin soon and has already begun in the CRC, I am muy confident the CRB is goin to new all-time highs and I would not bet against gold doing the same. just an old hombres BS opinion Senor

I am not very optimistic for Gold short term and it may get a bit volatile for the next few days. Odds say a sharp drop may be seen in the next few days. I will closely monitor how the Gold/Euro ratio behaves this week. At least the Cypriots or other foreigners who had Gold in their Cyprus Banks deposit boxes will escape the 6.75-10.00% haircut the Bank depositors may suffer if the plan is approved by the Cyprus Government tomorrow which is in doubt as of now. -tria

well for a while it looked like another pump amd dump in gold and especially the miners, if prices can now go to new highs for the session then I think we really got something going here, go much below the session lows and I get out of most of my longs. BSing away Senor

SLV still building a base between 27.50 and 28.50, needs that close above the range.

GOLD's next hurdle is 1610.

GLD, needs a close above 156.75

Platinum, Palladium, Copper are falling for now.
Silver is trying to decide whether it is a PM or an Industrial metal and is almost flat.
I do hope it makes up its mind soon.
