Taking another crack at the lows....if they give way, could be bloodbath.....and if not, could be start of bottoming process....looks like huge pivot zone here on Euro

The real surprise lately is how stocks don't care about the Euro anymore. Same with gold or crude. Everything used to be tied together with a rope, now it doesn't matter, various currencies and commodities can crash and fall and it doesn't even faze U.S. stocks. I mean look at retailers like Wal-Mart and Williams Sonoma, they could care less about sequesters, Cyprus, bank runs, imploding industrial production or anything else. Feels like everything is bullish for the U.S. consumer, mainly because interest rates and commodity prices have been in the tank for so long.

For the moment, I have to agree but for MUCH DIFFERENT REASONS (technical), until those SPX highs are tested, this market doesn't care about anything.. As long as the volume stays light like this, it doesn't take much printed fiat to jam the futures overnight and run it up. That's the pattern here. Until we see strong, sustained volume, this isn't going to just roll over. Bear markets are made by BREAKING BULL MARKETS on DISRUPTIVE HIGH VOLUME OFF THE TOP, GAPS DOWN, not by tippy-toeing out of the room.
