Australia has just increased the minimum wage to $622 a week.
That's typically for 35 hours worked.
Nearly $18 per hour. Plus free health care and disability insurance.
The USA is $7.25 I believe.
And I thought the USA was a wealthy nation.
If your workers don't have disposable income they can't generate commerce.
Pretty simple really.

Your analysis lacks perspective.
Look up the percentage of USA workers who earn the minimum wage.
Then subtract out children living at home with parents.
Hint - it is a small number.
