Markets have always been good at working through global turmoil. It is an error to believe a war in the Ukraine will cause a bear market. The news blackout of anything meaningful coming out of the Ukraine has the potential of damaging markets more than any events that aren’t being reported. Markets will survive most anything one way or the other, with the exception of the removal of critical attributes that make markets possible. Stifling the free and open exchange of information is damaging.
