Is anything in this government real anymore?

REPORT: Fake CIA agent helped draft sweeping regulations while at Environmental Agency...

Report reveals: EPA has relied on “secret science” to justify most of its Clean Air Act regulations.

A former high-ranking EPA staffer convicted of stealing nearly $900,000 by pretending to be a CIA spy had virtually no experience.
John Beale, the highest-paid employee in the EPA, was "recruited by the EPA based solely on a personal friendship rather than any experience or credentials.”
Beal got his job with help from a college buddy, and went on to play a key role in sweeping environmental regulations, eventually earning more than $200,000 in salary and bonuses a year by the time he resigned in April 2013.
Beale is now in prison on theft charges after admitting he ditched EPA work, claiming to be a CIA spy.

“Today’s report connects the dots between John Beale and the numerous air regulations that he’s responsible for, regulations with a lasting impact that are costing many Americans their jobs and hard-earned wages,”

Investigators say the EPA should disclose the "secret science" behind the regulatory decisions in which Beale took part.

(The sad thing is, Beal was probably the smartest, most honest person working at the EPA.) <_<
