I have my own faith and my own diet.
But have you ever noticed the similarity between "health nuts," "climate nuts," "political nuts"and "religious nuts"?

All try to save the world through their over-zealous evangelism.
It's not enough that they believe, or simply share what they believe.
They have to go on a "crusade".
I say that it's based on a deep seated neurotic problem or a need to feel superior to others.

So today I see this headline:
Richard Branson gives up beef - to save the world...

Last week I saw a "religious" billboard with a baby pig saying:

"You can live without those ribs but I can't. Try Vegan."
It reminded me of billboards encouraging me to "Try" religion.
I think you should try some baby back ribs, but I'm not going to put up a billboard about it.

And sometimes any evangelistic crusade becomes all about the money.
Whether it's Al Gore or Jim Baker, they live "High on the Hog":

In the last 11 years, PETA has killed 29,426 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic animals.
Despite $35,000,000 in annual revenues.

Watchdog fail: PETA killed nearly 2,000 shelter animals in 2013 - report
Published time: February 07, 2014

A 2010 inspection carried out by a VDACS veterinarian discovered that 84 percent of the animals PETA took in were killed within 24 hours.

In the last 11 years, PETA has killed 29,426 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic animals.
Despite $35,000,000 in annual revenues and millions of "animal-loving" members, PETA does not even try to find them homes. PETA has no adoption hours, does no adoption promotion, has no adoption floor, but is registered with the State of Virginia as a "humane society" or "animal shelter."

A supermarket dumpster full of garbage bags. When police officers looked inside, they found the bodies of dead animals -- animals killed by PETA. PETA described these animals as "adorable" and "perfect." A veterinarian who naively gave PETA some of the animals, thinking they would find them homes, and examined the dead bodies of others, testified that they were "healthy" and "adoptable."
