It's + or - 2 trading days, so we'll see by Friday.
This didn't end today with a bang, so the bloodletting may not be over yet.
Certainly no V-Bottom.
Not really indicative of gold lows...
So I see this as still an open issue.

Hope so Esquire, bloodletting is good for us sometimes and the leach does look feminine and friendly to me.
In Greece, bloodletting was in use in the fifth century B.C. during the lifetime of Hippocrates, who mentions this practice but generally relied on dietary techniques.[10]Erasistratus, however, theorized that many diseases were caused by plethoras, or overabundances, in the blood and advised that these plethoras be treated, initially, by exercise, sweating, reduced food intake, and vomiting.[11]Herophilus advocated bloodletting. Archagathus, one of the first Greek physicians to practice in Rome, also believed in the value of bloodletting. "Bleeding" a patient to health was modeled on the process of menstruation. Hippocrates believed that menstruation functioned to "purge women of bad humors". During the Roman Empire, the Greek physician Galen, who subscribed to the teachings of Hippocrates, advocated physician-initiated bloodletting.

If we can't get gold to $1000 or near it in this timeframe, that implies that there's still another downleg to come, and another leg will put it well under $1000...

Well if you see the chart of Silver that I discussed 5 posts above, I agree with this implication.
It is my preferred scenario, for now at least.
