Look at the dollar MACD and index trends in the timeframe after the 2008 crisis, and how that trend was broken to form a new MACD up trend (first chart). See how the dollar went on a massive spike up exactly at the point the megaphone MACD trend was broken to the upside.

 

Then pan out in the second chart to see the 34 year downtrend in $USD broken to the upside by this new uptrend. Implications of this have to be concerning.

Hyper deflation.  Money multiplier is lower today that it was after the 1929 crash and the great depression.
