Took short term profits on $YEN Long ahead of F'ed crooks today...

yeah I just exited long GDX at 22.73 for a very small gain, gave it a shot and don't like the fade and don't really want to be positioned before that news

Heck, throw in a couple X-Waves from somewhere you are likely to end up with...

on the other hand , gold will likely make these moves to the lows seem irrelevant in 6 months time

weird week, my preference would be that today started the possible final 5th leg down here and perhaps that might give us a low late next week. Pure spec on my part and I continue to watch being totally out of this sector. Gold bottoming at the 1210 area would be "ideal" IMO, but ya can't always get watcha want - maybe we will ge what we need? we see

agree, while I assign it a very low probability "at this time" (10-15%) nothing can EVER be dismissed

I could not agree more with dougie and, as Senor BS put it so succinctly, "nothing can EVER be dismissed".  I recently read a couple of calls for gold to head back to 1050.  As most gold investors/traders know there will be less production of gold this year.  Many miners are now getting their act together and reducing expenses and ramping up cap ex.  They are getting leaner and more shareholder friendly.  There are zero and below zero interest rates in many parts of the world.  Sentiment is in the dumpster and the technicals are lining up for what looks like to me a good rally.  Add to that the rising war drums crescendo, trillions of dollars in debt that will never be paid, and it appears precious metals are the place to be.

For those that have been contemplating buying some physical now will perhaps turn out to be a tremendous buying opportunity. My precious metals miners portfolio is about 60% invested with plenty of dry powder to pick up stocks that I consider have good value and capital gains potential.  Also looking to add to some positions.  Doing my best to be patient here.  blink.png

Good trading to all. yes.gifsmile.png

Don't ever underestimate the demand for currencies...

Especially when we're going into a global liquidation and reset...

Gold is like anything else, if it sells for dollars they are in high demand...

One day gold will go a lot higher, but not until bankers own and control the supply again.
