it has to be a short term 3 up if bullish IMO so I am raising my stop on gold stock longs to a nicely profitable level and it won't take that much of a decline to get me out, another now or never moment IMO

no, just because I am simply being extra careful does not mean its necessarily bearish, and for me too many things suggest a bearish outlook just does not provide all that good a risk/reward trade "if" it is bearish.

I decided to stay and loosen up the stop. That should already tell you that you made the right decision.

gold sector lows are often very UGLY, offering no clear clues a bottom is in until a big rally finally occurs. We usually don't get clear five wave initial rallies and indices offen diverge amongst themselves as do gold and silver, and double bottoms or slight failures can often occur - bottom line its FUGLY and I expect this one to be no different
