Smollett is a 36-year-old wealthy man, a celebrity.  If he had been given the chance, he would have sent innocent people to prison — and  would have done so with support of the media and elected representatives.

This is America 2019.      https://www.american...ax_machine.html

First, one finds journalistic hoaxes.  Among these are the hoax of the Duke lacrosse-players and the UVA rape case.  Such cases are fabricated and sensationalized in order to support the ideological claim of "rape culture on campuses."

Second, there are academic hoaxes, which are "studies" based on fabricated data and cherry-picked samples designed to provide an ideological outcome.  For example, there was a study that showed that gays die much earlier because people do not support calling two men in a romantic relationship a marriage.

The third type is the fake hate crime.  They are meant to prove the existence of violent bigots who attack the heroic victims, such as Jussie Smollett, Mathew Shepherd, and Tyler Clementi.

Covington Catholic teen sues CNN for $275 MILLION for 'falsely attacking, vilifying and bullying him' over Lincoln Memorial incident in order to 'push an anti-Trump agenda' as his lawyers say more lawsuits may be coming  https://www.dailymai...275MILLION.html
  •
  • Nicholas Sandmann filed the suit on Tuesday in the Eastern District of Kentucky
  • He seeks $275M in damages from CNN over coverage of infamous incident
  • Sandmann was made out by media to be the aggressor in clip of confrontation
  • He wore MAGA hat while Native American activist banged a drum in his face
  • More extensive video showed his school group was the target of abuse

Criticism Mounts for CNN over Charlottesville Hoax  https://www.breitbar...ttesville-hoax/

A growing chorus of critics is questioning CNN’s repeated — and false — reports that President Donald Trump referred to neo-Nazis as “very fine people” in his remarks about the Charlottesville, Virginia, riots in 2017.

As Breitbart News has explained exhaustively, and as the transcript of the press conference proves beyond any doubt, President Trump was specifically excluding the neo-Nazis, whom he said should be “condemned totally.”

Trump was instead referring to non-violent demonstrators who protested the removal of a state of Confederate general Robert E. Lee — as well as to peaceful left-wing protesters opposing them (and opposing the neo-Nazis).

Here are some of the press accounts obliterated by the Mueller report:

  • Paul Manafort never visited Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy;Guardian reporting otherwise is utterly fake.
  • Buzzfeed’s claim that the President told Michael Cohen to lie about negotiations to build a Trump Tower is Moscow -- FAKE.
  • CNN’s claim that Cohen asserted that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting (bruited by Carl Bernstein, Jim Sciutto and Marshall Cohen) -- FAKE.
  • Rachel Maddow’s charge that “the Russians may be controlling our government” -- FAKE.
  • Claims by Marcy Wheeler (repeated by others, including the WashingtonPost) that the post-election contacts between Trump and Russia were evidence of a conspiracy -- FAKE.

Also FAKE: the Steele Dossier, pee-pee tape stories, secret meetings in Prague, and corrupt financial dealings with Russia going back years before the election.

2018

Michael Avenatti appeared on CNN and MSNBC between March 7th and May 10th, 2018, at least 65 times and 43 times, respectively, for a total of at least 108 appearances. Free Beacon estimated Avenatti earned around $175 million in free media from the news networks.

2019

Michael Avenatti’s law firm filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this month after his ex-partner alleged the television lawyer attempted to hide millions derived from legal fees.

The embattled lawyer was arrested in November on suspicion of domestic violence, but prosecutors have declined to bring felony charges against the attorney. They are investigating whether he should face a misdemeanor charge for allegations he roughed up a girlfriend.
