gold may have 5 down from recent secondary high at 1528 as 1522-1532 resistance area again stops market. I wonder if we had an "A" down from 1535 spike high to 1480ish spike low, wave B up to 1528 and now a wave C down below 1480? possible as miners like SILJ already well into a correction, not sweatin it, will add if we get to some lower possible correction targets.

yes,i was watching those levels too  gold looks great will it be the engine?!

chance here the HUI/Gold ratio may be at or very near an end to an almost month long correction from its rally high on July 19th - its been testing its lower 200-day MA for the past 3 days and also gotten modestly oversold - lets see if its ready to begin a new leg up

Yep - it feels like miners are lagging, but they are just missing their afterburner (I show $HUI:$GOLD testing the 50-day MA, FWIW)

Next big low for GDX will be late Oct to November, it should become clearer as time goes on but I have a clear signal for a serious low in that time frame.  I am not sure if the golds will go up a little more before the low shows up next autumn.

would not mind seeing a sharp move down toward 1480 tonight in a "possible" wave c, could see a couple day sharp decline, not counting on it but would not mind seeing it play out

I sold my SILJ a while back and am looking for a pullback  Will reload if/when we get one.  Lately I bought some very small cap silver plays Eric Sprott recently recommended.  Yes he is pushing his stuff, but, I don't care as they are long term plays that Eric owns  substantial positions in. I am not betting the rent money, Will know in the fullness of time if my strategy is profitable.
