Silver and Gold are showing classic bull flag formations, a late January high or even spring is coming. GDXJ (bottom chart) appears to be breaking out of it's bull flag.

this should be the last leg down for gld imo we will see i dont see any large
declines from here in the metal but gld really needs to close above 139

They're throwing everything at silver, it will fail; 2-3 counts point down, one is extremely bearish. That bearish count implies that wave B was finished at 17.2 and we're going straight for BIG Bertha wave c down to ..........14.50.
The alternate count is a move to 17.50, followed by wave c down, but not as deep.

Nice looking first hourly candle for GDX as it made perhaps its last test of the hourly 900 for a while.
