continue to like what I see for a grinding bottom to be ending and a soon to be accelerating advance - the generals here like KL and NEM (my 2 largest holdings) IMO are leading and acting great and expect the "soldiers" to soon join the party, yesterday and this mornin took positions to 45-50% long - as always DYODD

That's my preferred count, looks we have a good chance of a large wave 3 getting underway (daily chart) and that's lookin good this mornin with assuming the solid rally we are currently seeing in gold/silver is maintained. However GDX/GDXJ etc do allow this to be a wave 5 vs a 3 basis daily charts. Bottom line is a remain bullish

two consecutive 8 hour bars above 1838, probably seals the fate on a move above 1920 in the following 2-6 weeks, but it may not be a straight up affair.   Lots of timid bulls and stubborn bears.  And we have the possibility of a risk off event in equities (as always).

 

/CL, /HG, and /PL are also worrisome in the short term, any of them could have a 10 % one or two day move.  All of them threatening important pivots on the downside.

Inflation is heading higher.

I am taking tiny postions in China and precious metals. I don't trust other markets and fully agree with Prof Hanke above that inflation is heading higher.
