Gold futures look horrendous. Silver looks just as bad. Open Interest is going down. On silver, despite that pump yesterday, OI went down. And no one is holding Feb contracts on gold, true the active contract is April, still there is a whole month before settlement.

If this is some sort of a diagonal, we could see 9.29 again?

GDX 2/3 of the way there...but that last 1/3 is the important one.....

getting a foothold over 31 could be a big step....

gannman i agree w/you. BUT  this sector has been squirrely over the last year or more. its tough to have conviction. i can see what i like in the waves, not a great outcome to put your money on.  when this sorts out i am looking for a move higher.  i do think the broad market has more of a correction. and then the fed panics.  being patient here as commodities continue a bull run. it seems no cb has the nerve to raise rates, although they know that is what is needed. this economy is very fragile.  the fear of covid has kept folks at home. lots of sectors in trouble

platinum looking constructive, not much conviction from me , but starting a campaign in plg
