if you think the supply chain of goods from China is in bad shape now -  just wait till next week when everything shuts down in China for the long new year Holiday and the winter Olympics start.

there are even power outages expected which will diminish factory production

from talking to some local electronics stores in California they are not prepared for product delays this year like they were in 2021

Well...with cargo ships stretching from the San Pedro and Long Beach harbors all the way to the Mexican border, along with only the first 7 days of the new year a public holiday, I'm thinking that we won't feel much of anything different this year since this same line of cargo ships have been sitting out there for 2 months or more waiting to unload. If anything, it might help clear (catch up) the system of what's already out there!

But it is a good point to consider during times of "usual and customary."

On that note, all businesses have to plan for this with their order placing as a matter of due diligence or risk failure.
