"The U.S. will increase its military presence in the Philippines, strengthening the Southeast Asian country’s role as a strategic partner in the event of a conflict with China."

I'm a little nervous about this potential key reversal pattern - expanding triangle.

In being a gold bull I first look to see if the fundamentals are bullish, then I look at the charts,
The strongest correlation to the gold price is the M2 money supply. If it continues to shrink it will bite gold in the derriere. I'll go so far as to say it is just a question of when.

It's been a long wait, watching for the velocity of money to turn up. It is a prerequisite for a long term gold bull. We'll see if it overrides the influence of the contracting M2

The overwhelming view is that GOLD is going over $2,000 and SILVER bulls are--yet again- coming out their stupor to claim that SI is going to the moon. Whatever?

H&S on XAU, big reversal on gold and silver, top is in. Euro hit it's long term down trend line.
