My guess is if GDX doers not get hit hard and then recovers above 36.20, then bear bets back off the table

But, after the weakness displayed yesterday, this may be bears best shot at giving things a go for a bit.

GDX failing to hold 1 min after the failure at 36.20 could be first real hint of possible short term trouble

 

How GDX ACTS from this point forward could provide some good clues

PA....as long as the major failure at 1K, and more minor one at 980 holds, there is till the very real possibility that a lot lower price could be coming...

 

It was under $500 as recently as 2016

 

Thought there might be a corrective up wave coming...but sideways might have been all it could muster, and last part of the bear could still be dead ahead.

How things ACT at key levels is what is important
