Problem is there is no easy compromise on debt limit.
USA debt is now unaffordable due to higher interest rates.
Very interesting next 18 months coming up, unless Putin ends it all by going nuclear.

if the USA go bankrupted, it is the end of the world as we have known it, so that the chances that it happens are zero. What might happen is that if the US keep expanding their debt even just a little more, they will lose at least in part, the guidance of the world's economy with china surging to a level that might contrast western civilization. putin won't go nuclear because he knows he can't and even if he tried, the rest of his mafia-companions would stop him.
