This doesn't mean the NYSE is going into a Bear Market, but it sure looks like a serious head-wind.

We will probably run into problems within a month or two. It hurts to be bearish too early. But you are correct: there are signs showing up.

First chart is the cumulative chart of new highs, new lows for perspective.

Second chart is the latest on the ISEE data on a 10 day moving average.

I've been watching that ISEE 10-day for some time now. Amazing, but not as telling as I would have thought.

I think it's early, and the time of year is Bullish.

This would put a little fear back into the market and wake the bears from their long slumber.  As for seasonality, what better time to prey on investors' expectations?

It could be different this time.  Corporations (products and services), employers (payrolls down, wages up) and equities could continue seamlessly pricing-in the understated persistant inflation required to support our phony GDP.

The relative strength of the dollar has been our saving grace.  Wonder how long before the world sees through the fed's hawkish bluff?  Maybe it doesn't matter since Europe appears on the verge of collapse and China on the verge of japanification - while the USA is said to be entering the 'golden age of Amerca'.
