fwiw, my hybrid momentum indicator indicated a SAR signal @ 11:30 this morning @ ES 1200, allowing only +1.0 on the last signal...
seasonals seem to want to keep the trend moving upward into year end, and while i cannot predict what will come of this signal, second guessing system trading is not a good habit to get into, so i'll just try to interpret the timing of the SARs correctly, taking them as they come, though this system doesn't really perform at its best in this kind of choppy market environment.
the delay in posting is on purpose, as i don't intend for this thread to become a timing service.

p.s. sorry for the chart being attached, rather than included in the text, but am having problems with my ftp again today.

sure... not problem... this is from a post in a thread below, which was posted on 12/17 ( http://traders-talk....showtopic=27091 ):

Hi Mark,
you're correct, the buy was just prior to a mini-breakout, as i had hoped...
i've learned the hard way that attempting to use EW/fractal analysis to generate ST swing/SAR signals is not very reliable... imho, EW is more of an art than a science. therefore, developing a relatively reliable swing system that is able to catch most of the meat between the peaks and valleys makes the most sense to me, which is what i've attempted to do with this hybrid momentum indicator swing system.
that said, you're correct again when you suggested that i got a sell/SAR signal this morning, it came at about 10:45 @ 1201 ES, for +17.0 on the last signal.

END
SAR = stop and reverse... referring to a type of swing trading system that is always in the market, either long or short.
so, if the SAR prior to today's was a sell @ 1201 ES, that signal produced only one point before reversing back to long today.
i hope that this explanation clears up this matter to your satisfaction... if not, please be more specific.
