GLENN NEELY'S BACKGROUND
- Started in 1981 (going to brokerage firms, watching the Gold market)
- Spent $2000 on a system in 1982 (that was a HUGE amount for me then)
- 1983, started the EW Institute - At the time, began one of the world's first telephone trading and training courses done in real time
- 1986 - first national TV appearance (youngest guy ever to appear on CNN's business show)
- 1986 - Appeared on FNN, CBS radio, spoke in New York for Market Technicians Association (MTA)
- Early 1987 - Began WaveWatch Financial Newsletter
- Mid 1987 - called for a massive, 3 month decline in the S&P
- Late 1987 - After the CRASH, confidently stated that the low in Oct. 1987 would not be broken for 200 years
- Mid 1988 - presented the first ever 80 year stock market forecast, which projected a move above 8000 in the DOW 8-13 years later - a forecast that is still relevant and accurate today and calls for 100,000 to be reached by 2065!
