Current status of the XLE and sup. & res. are indicated by the ribbon ema's. Below that is a daily and monthly chart that suggests that there is a corralation between the price of oil, gold & the XLE.

Also thanks goes to "PIK" who reminded me that the price of oil & gold lag each other by 11-12 months. His quote is -- "Something I learned from Fib several years ago was to keep an eye on the Gold/Oil relationship where Gold leads the price of Oil by 11-12 months.  The McClellans from what I understand originally discovered this relationship and continue to track it today."

I don't see the 11-12 mo lag. :huh:
PS: You would have been better off to buy oil 10 years ago!

I agree with both your statements, but the 11-12 mo lag is a widely held opinion by people smarter than me. Am posting PIK's chart and comments, hope he does not mind. :)

Maybe Gold leads Oil by 10-11 YEARS! :lol: Wish I had bought that "deflation" talk when gold was bottoming and the world's banks were selling. Fears and Froth...buy and sell.
