14 month NEM Cycle?

Is she barking?

Posted Image

I like to run at the front of the pack with the best of breed.....others like to trot on home with the fat sluggish mutts.

Woof, woof...who let the dog out?

Mucho hosility toward NEM.

Bueno.

at best NEM might hit the apex of the triangle... you do see the triangle right? whats that about 4 more points on the upside.? now look at say SLW or AUY or KGC.....how many points do you see there?

its not really about being anti NEM in fact tomorrow I plan to sell you some that I bought in the low 40's... I see more profitable opportunities in the stocks like AUY that have just done sweet little 38% fibo retracements before they set off into higher highs HH's. You know what HH's signify right?

i think your comment about NEM being up while the gold leaders were pulling back was very revealing. So I expect to get a good price for my NEM tomorrow... you push it to fifty and that will be nifty.

bow wow

You trashed the NEM dog and now admit you have some? Must be a cute mutt to your eyes. And you are going to sell it to me at higher prices? Well, darn, I might be selling it with you!

like I said yesterday I am seller of NEM and I sold it at the open today. I will take the 5 points and bank those funds. the rest of the capital goes back into KGC and AUY. Gold down 10.00+ have a look at AUY..... these are the characteristics I look for in core positions. by the way the AUY I buy today is another add to the stock I bought in the 9's on Oct 4 th. Find out who the truly best performers are STATISTICALLY and feed those stocks at the opportune times(pyramid).

NEM was a trade because I recognized that the stock was turning on the date in question ( Oct 4 th ) you had a three gap down play, climatic volume and a hammer candle. i set the trade up with the intentions of seeing the stock work back to the apex at 52.00. i placed my trade once I thought the bottom was confirmed on Oct 18 th ...with a tight stop below the lows on 10/04. So i was looking for 10 points on the trade with a risk of 2.50 points. As time wore on the trade didn't perform up to expectations. Now as you correctly pointed out the last of the lot (NEM) was still making highs this apst week when the purebreds were home and cooling off. thats why I am a seller today. i am redeploying funds into the purebreds who are cooled off and rested up for the next run up the mountain.

One thing i know is that you make outsized gains in only a few of your stocks so you have to be willing to invest in your BEST ideas. the secondary ideas need to be culled and you have to feed your winners.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I must apologize for my tone in the previous posts. i surely could have made the point in a much better spirit and attitude.

You are classy! Nice post.

While NEM may be a dog that can't hunt in the past, they have not been able to kill it either. Look at it today. Sweet mother of pearl! It keeps coming back from the dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Closed almost flat!!!!!!!
pretty close Ed I am an Akita
akitas are not known for barking without "good reason". they generally are very quiet but can develop personality disorders when bored and become destructive. and like other fighting dog akitas have a strong prey drive and expect other dogs to be submissive...or else. those aren't the traits i look for in a dog but around here i am the alpha, or so i am led to believe  . ed rader

Ed you can be the alpha, I don't travel in packs... like the lone wolf I am doing my own thing....and you were spot on about being bored in hindsight it was the driving force behind my snarls.
